Cottage at the La Petite Bergerie Farm

The property

Our property is located in the heart of Corbières, in the Cathar Country, at the foot of the fortress of Termes, at the entrance to the vertiginous cliffs of the Gorges de Termenet, in the wilderness, surrounded by beautiful holm oak forests and scrubland. and Mediterranean meadows.

This is where we chose to settle, to renovate our old sheepfold and two gîtes, in the heart of nature, far from all pollution and mass tourism. Since then, we have raised a herd of ponies and a few donkeys and horses on a property of almost 100 ha in the surrounding Mediterranean mountains.

The cottage La Petite Bergerie

The cottage is located at the entrance to the property, on the grounds of an old vineyard, in absolute calm, far from the road and other homes. It has a private enclosed garden with two terraces with views of the Château de Termes and the surrounding mountains. The nearest houses (our house and the second gîte, Le Chalet L'Oustal, are 80 and 100 m away without any direct view).

The whole is located on a fenced plot of 5 ha of oak woods and Mediterranean heaths and scrubland where your children will be able to play peacefully and in complete safety.

Ground floor

Living room/dining room/kitchen area - 26 m², table and chairs for six people, dresser, four-seater sofa, armchairs, TV, mobile air conditioning.

• Kitchen area with stove, oven, fridge. / freezer, sink, cupboards, dresser, microwave oven, coffee maker (classic filter, Italian and capsule), dishwasher, crockery and cutlery for six people.
• Bathroom - 5 m2, shower cubicle, sink, shelf, washing machine.
• WC - 2 m2.
• Bedroom - 8 m2, double bed 160, cupboard.

1st floor

Mezzanine with two attic children's bedrooms of 8 m2 each, two single beds 80x 190 cm in each bedroom (can be transformed into double beds of 160 x 190 cm), cupboards. Low-ceilinged rooms, accessible via a low door and a narrow, steep staircase. These rooms are not suitable for the elderly and/or those with reduced mobility, but children will find a real nest there, their "Ali Baba's cave"... they generally love it.

Garden

Private enclosed garden, with two shaded terraces with garden table, chairs, deck chairs, hammock, barbecue, surrounded by a large wild green space of several hectares with shaded benches where our ponies, donkeys and horses graze who, curious, will come join you at the gate, ping-pong.
